I noticed early this morning that the program guide is back. Perhaps it was just on Easter holiday ;-)Anyway, there is a F R E E downloadable program that makes an excellent fully customizable TV program for all German (as well as other European) channels. The link is http://tvbrowser.org/I have been using it since January and find it ...

Wow, how underwhelming !! The FCC has to call you for information, rather than the other way around. Nice to see that our government is soooo on top of things !!!!

Dear NexTV:After a one and a half week hiatus, the frozen picture problem appeared to have returned last night (02/18). Both ARD and ZDF were experiencing it. Please check.I noticed starting last week that ZDF programs in 16:9 format are now displaying correctly as a 16:9 letterboxed picture on my conventional (4:3)TV. This is in ...

Dear GetNexTV.com,Kudos to you for fixing the ''frozen picture'' issue. Indeed I have noticed that it was no longer an issue for me starting last evening (Wed.).Regarding the ''time shifting'', I would hope that you are only considering adding the time shifted channels in addition to showing them ''live'', as there are many instances when it ...

I would tend to think dealing directly with NexTV, rather than with a middle man, would be slightly more cost effective. On the other hand, for someone with less tech ...

Hallo Marienkรคfer,I also had OverseaTV and was very happy with it, despite ''die Macken'' that would occur every now and then. Nevertheless, the content was great (viele รถffentlich-rechtliche Sender) and live.As for now, I was a bit more fortunate than you, in that I have a Wave 300 box that was upgradeable, which I did myself. I ...

RedAce,The resolution appears to be better than OverseaTV. However, it is still not ''broadcast quality'' NTSC. Additionally, the picture appears to still be at 30 frames per second, which it not so noticeable if you are watching a movie, but if you are watching a live or videotaped program, which in its original format is usually at ...

AlanG,No, you are not the only one. Although I initially did not notice any breakup / buffering issues. This was based on my initial impression after activating my STB around noon (EST) on Monday of this week.Since then, I have noticed that in the early evening hours (around 8 PM EST) there is some breakup (I have the German ...

Pokoj,In terms of the German programming that NexTV offers, I have to agree with you that ZDF is really the only channel that I watch. I have never been very enthusiastic about German commercial television. In the end, the German commercial channels are not any better than the garbage on American commercial TV.The public channels ...
