Yes indeed I noticed that last evening as well and I was very happy about that !!

Unfortunately though, last night at about 8 PM EST I was getting alot of picture freezing on all the channels.  I have noticed this happening in the evening before.  It does not occur all the time and when it does occur, it happens to varying degrees.

I hope NexTV solves this issue soon as well.

Yes, indeed, I was extremely PLEASED to see ARD added to the NexTV program lineup.  I consider this an essential program for any German TV offering.  However, much to my disappointment, I, too, have been experiencing extreme video and audio freezing, video distortions, and pixelization since last week.  I cannot even watch the German TV, though, since the quality of the reception is so terrible now.  I even called my Internet Service Provider to verify my bandwidth speed and quality, and there were no problems detected.  An out-of-state NexTV customer has informed me that he has also had the same problems since becoming a NexTV customer.  I did take time to notify NexTV about these problems.  Unless customers notify NexTV about the video and/or audio problems, they will be unaware that problems exist and hence will be unable to take corrective action.

I do believe that NexTV is committed to providing total customer satisfaction, but quality of service may not come overnight due to the sudden surge in demand as a result of OverseaTV shutdown.  As long as NexTV is aware that problems exist and they are actively taking corrective action, I will continue to support them.  However, I also believe it would be wise if NexTV would list status on their home page so when we do experience technical difficulties with our reception that we can first check on status with NexTV before we generate a trouble ticket.  Keeping customers informed about status, progress, and future enhancements goes a long way to keeping customers satisfied.

I do hope that the technical problems I am experencing with NexTV will be resolved sooner rather than later since just offering a program without actually being able to successfully deliver the program to the end user is not really providing a service that customers will subscribe to for very long.  However, I do want to "tip my hat" to NexTV for the service they are stepping up to provide and have faith that they will soon be able to provide a quality and reliable service that will benefit the customer community.

Fully agree!  I had the same problems last night.  What email address are you using to report the issues?  If we continue to experience problems, I agree that we need to tell Nextv so they can fix them.

I also want to say that although i do not have the greman package i have the russian package that I too am VERY happy with GETNEXTV all things seem to for the most part work better then Overseatv.
Only problem i have and issue i have is picture quality needs to get better also there is some breaking up and pixelation issues that need attention.

Also i hope soon there new website will be up and running and on it i hope to see an area where we can submit a ticket for problems. 

Otherwise i am happy with GETNEXTV and i am recomeding them to all my Russian friends.

Okay, there are several ways I believe one can contact NexTV to provide customer feedback to them.  One method I have used is their website:  www.vutv.tv  Once at the web site, click on "Contact" and complete the information requested.  There is a box that allows one to submit a summary of the reason for the contact.  A second method to contact NexTV is to send them an email at their email address:  info@vutv.tv  Another way to contact NexTV is by calling them at either 1-866-840-5454 or 416-288-9595. 

My experience with contacting NexTV has been very positive and NexTV does want the feedback so they can correct problems or improve on service.  They are in the business to be successful.  It is up to the customers to help them achieve this goal.  If we all sit back and are dissatisfied without informing NexTV why we are unhappy, then we have done a disservice to them and shame on us. 

My bet is the NexTV will take care of problems once they are made aware they exist.  However, depending upon the nature of the problem, fixes may not necessarily come overnight.  So remember to be patient and supportive.

Just a little update from us.

Indeed we have added a new channel to German channels line up (ARD).

We also have noticed the “frozen picture” issue, thanks to our subscribers feedback, we been able to locate the problem and fix it !

We are currently working on “time shifting” , for our German and Russian packages.

We are also working on the new channels for our German and Russian packages.

New and updated web site for NexTV is in its final stage of completion, and should up and running in the near future.

Dear NexTV:

1. After a one and a half week hiatus, the frozen picture problem appeared to have returned last night (02/18).  Both ARD and ZDF were experiencing it.  Please check.
2. I noticed starting last week that ZDF programs in 16:9 format are now displaying correctly as a 16:9 letterboxed picture on my conventional (4:3)TV.  This is in contrast to ARD, where 16:9 broadcasts appear distorted (vertically stretched).  Is there any way to duplicate with ARD what you have done with ZDF?
