Strange, because while I contacted them in Canada (as this was the only service at the time), the US website lists out PRO 7, Euro news, and DW as available.

All,
There are now new channels on the IPTV German TV Service - Next TV. They got rid of a few of the silly channels like Rhein-Main TV and Munchen.TV. The full line-up (as of March 5th, 2010) is:
Pro 7
DW
ARD (time-shifted)
ARD Live
ZDF (time-shifted)
ZDF Live
NDR
EuroNews
SAT 1
WRD
MDR
Rund um die Uhr (news)
RTL
KIKA

Anna,
I have had Next Tv for 2 years or so and I love it. In fact, I got a box for my Mom. Since then we have had little to no problems, everytime I send them an email they are prompt to answer and they have added new channels in the past year (nothing great - but still something). I think you need to take a second look at Nextv. I have used them for over 1 year now and love the service. They have ARD, and ZDF both live and time-shifted which is great. The quality has been really good.

Thanks

Well I have to kindly disagree with the last few postings. I love Nextv. I love the fact that they time shift the programs, as I work and it's nice to get home and watch primetime shows versus some trashy US movie that ARD/ZDF plays at 3am local zeit. I suppose it would be a good thing to have both options available.
I do agree ...

FYI - I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and have a cable modem connection. My speed, measured via different sites, averages about 5 Mbs

Strange, but I have had very little issues with the service. While at time I do get some amount of pixilization, I chalk that up to slowness in the system rather than a problem with Nextv. When I have had issues, I immediatly report them to support@getnextv.com and they have done a good job of correcting them ASAP. I will tell you
