Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, Minerva Networks is a privately-owned networking infrastructure company developing innovative end-to-end broadband IP television solutions in the telecommunication and enterprise markets.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the COO, this Director will establish procedures for maintaining high standards of software quality and reliability. The Director of Software QA will determine and enforce, through functional groups, quality and safety requirements in accordance with real company needs, based on current regulations and state-of-the-art product development. Additional responsibilities include evaluating and developing improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability, and safety.
Requirements: 10 or more years progressively more responsible experience in Software Quality, including white box and black box testing, with emphasis on infrastructure software. Prior QA experience in networking and or video is a plus.

Skills: Minerva's technical environment includes Unix/Linux/Windows OSs, MPEG, Winrunner, LoadRunner, SQL, and Oracle. Practical working knowledge of conditional access/encryption, video/audio compression, set-top boxes, or embedded systems is a distinct plus.

Education: This position requires a BSCS/BSEE or equivalent. MSCS preferred.
