German TV available in the US/Canada via IPTV

    All,

There are now new channels on the IPTV German TV Service - Next TV. They got rid of a few of the silly channels like Rhein-Main TV and Munchen.TV. The full line-up (as of March 5th, 2010) is:

    Pro 7
    DW
    ARD (time-shifted)
    ARD Live
    ZDF (time-shifted)
    ZDF Live
    NDR
    EuroNews
    SAT 1
    WRD
    MDR
    Rund um die Uhr (news)
    RTL
    KIKA

I have had this service for over 2 years and absoluetly love it. I like the time shifted channels as I can watch prime-time shows during my prime time. They have great customer service and the price is fair ~$30/month. I like the fact that I can watch the tv on my TV and not sitting at a computer. I pull in the box to the internet and connect it to my TV, that simple!

    Check them out at:

Strange, because while I contacted them in Canada (as this was the only service at the time), the US website lists out PRO 7, Euro news, and DW as available.
