    Re: OverseaTV

    Hi Redace,

Iam based in the UK and I have just done a good search on overseastv.com!!!!!!!!!

I dont see how a company can charge $19.95 per month for twelve channels when a quick internet search will reveal 1200+ free channels. It looks like a scam.

I have worked in the adult industry for 20 years, no reflection on the industry, but we know how to spot a scam.

Overseastv.com if you read this sue me> I will send you my lawyers details.

If it is a technical fault, I couldn't even enter my cc details because I was from the UK, then OK.

But stop scamming! IPTV is supposed to be FREE!!!

Let me know how you go on Redace.

    regards

    Phil.

    Re: OverseaTV

I HAVE CHOSEN THE ONLINE SERVICE BECAUSE I CANNOT AFFORD THE OTHER SERVICE - NOW IT IS TRUE THAT YOU CAN FIND INTERNET TV FREE BUT NOT THE CHANNELS OFFERED IN OVERSEATV - TRUST ME I HAVE BOTH FREE AND OVERSEATV - SOMETIMES I RUN INTO PROBLEMS WITH OVERSEATV BUT FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME - AND I FIGURE THOSE PROBLEMS ARE DUE TO HAVING TV ON INTERNET.

I AM HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE - I ENJOY WATCHING ITALIAN TV ONLINE.

    Re: OverseaTV

Ok so i started this thread and now i can tell everyone that i have had overseatv for over one year and it has been very good. recently they improved the picture quality even more so it is getting closer to being more like cable tv quality. I have the russian package and it is GREAT!! i get 12 channels that i love and most of all i get RTR sport.

Ca not get this on cable tv and where i live satellite is not an option.  so this service has been very good for me and i highly recomend it.  I do belive this is with out a doubt the wave ov tv in the future.

Thank you overseatv for make this great service available!!

    Re: OverseaTV

A typical Internet TV scam....all these sites that promise television abroad or for $$$ are just scams.

    I wouldn't give them a dime.

    Re: OverseaTV

they overseatv is not a scam not at all i have them over a year and they are always working to improve the quality and have done a very good job.

With them i get the russian channels i cannot get anywhere else  RTR Sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\

If you love Russian sports this is the BEST!!!!!!!!

It's easy to set up and i have had very few issues or problems with it and when i have tech support got them corrected.

    So i highly recommend them.

    Re: OverseaTV - Broadshift

    I. like another who wrote on this forum, have had Oversea/Broadshift service for one year.

There have been a few changes in the past year, including a few channel changes and  improvements to the picture quality and the menu.  I currently subscribe to 12 Russian channels.

    There are some problems though.

    (1) Moderate piss-off. My first receiver did not function properly.  The replacment one they sent me has worked fine for over 11 months now.

    (2) Inconvenience - They are EXTREMELY difficult to get in touch with.  When I first subscribed, I could speak directly to a technician on a phone line...and they were quite helpful.  In the past 6 months, you can only speak with the billing department...

    (3) Unsat - I have had ZERO service for the past 2 consecutive weeks.   A technician replied about a week ago by email that there was a significant techinical problem.  A staff in the billing department today had NO update on the technical problem...and the technicians have ceased responding to my on-line service queries.

    Re: OverseaTV

I also have Russian TV (TV Rossiya) and have really enjoyed it.  However on Dec 11th it went down (including their web site.  The TV program guide has come back on the air and the web site is back up.  But that's all.  They do not respond to their e-mail and their is no phone number to call.  Do you have a clue what is going on?   Alan    arg5@msn.com

    Re: OverseaTV

The German channels have working during this time. I would think that points to a problem with the Russion feed that is not technical.

    Re: OverseaTV

The following message is now posted on the Broadshift and TVRossiya web sites:

    Regretfully, BroadShift has ceased operations.
We have been unable to obtain necessary funding to continue business.
