    IPTV/movie content provider reviews

It's 2-20-07 and I still can't find any television content worth a damn on the internet!!  Are you having the same problem???  Let's work together and find some content!!  Please review content providers that you have used on a scale of 1 to 10.

Here's my reviews on a scale of 1 to 10

3  http://www.itvn.com  $10 per month gets you 17 channels of Starz and encore just like you get with cable tv.  There's also about 300 on demand movies.  The down side is I have a 1Mbps connection and that is not fast enough.  So dsl and most broadband to the home is not sufficient to support the software.  You order a box and they ship it to you.  For $40 more per month you can get all of the porn in the world.  But again most broadband connections are not sufficient to support the stream.

4 http://www.movieflix.com  $8.00 per month  I like the software but there is no content.  It's all B movies from the 1970s.  This one requires no box and it streams even on the slowest connections.

9 http://www.moviedude.com Same folks as the movieflix but its all porn.  If your looking for porn, this is the place to go.  The down side is there is no other content.

1 http://www.fox.com  They have no content that I can find!

2 http://www.abc.com They only have previews.

4 http://www.cbs.com They have the previous seasons full episodes.  Streams are still pretty fuzzy though.

3 http://www.nbc.com They have the previous weeks episodes of shows.

I have heard good things about www.cinemanow.com but I have a mac and it wont work there.  Also, I'm curious about www.watchonline.tv which looks too good to be true and I'm afraid to give up my credit card to them.  They have no company information and there website promises too much for it to be legite.  Yet they are spending a fortune on google ad words.   I've also found numerous urls that point to that same webpage...something is fishy.  Anyone know anything about them?

If you have had good or bad experience with a content provider, please post your findings.

    Re: IPTV/movie content provider reviews

I give up, I just ordered AT&T cable service.  They suck and I hate them and they required me to give them a social security number.  Hmm, lets see.  In the last 2 years I can think of 3 times where I had to give my social security number, when I bought a house, transferred health insurance and got freeking cable tv service.  AND THEY ARE NOT A MONOPOLY?

I've spent the last 30 days using Akimbo.  Here's my review

    3.  http://www.Akimbo.com $10 per month.  They claim the largest amount of content on the internet with 30,000 shows or something like that.  Sure.  However, probably 80% of the movies costs to download. The content is horendous.  If your looking to pay $2.00 to download Clint Eastwood's "The Eiger Sanction" then this might be for you.  I accidently clicked on "Snakes on a Train" and it irrevesibly started dolwnloading and cost me $4.50 even though it would take it over an hour to download.  Yea, Snakes on a Train.  It's the low budget Mexican knock off featuring Manuel L Jackson..  There was a little free stuff mostly cooking, travel and national geographic videos.  Frankly, I have no idea what their business model is becuase who is going to pay $10 per month and $100 for a box for the priveledge of being able to pay full rental rate for a video?

Either way, I'm done researching this topic.  I'll try it agian in  3 years.  What a disapointment

    Re: IPTV/movie content provider reviews

    Well I really enjoy http://www.blastiptv.com/ and http://www.blastip.tv/
Check it out. It's free right now since they don't have a whole bunch of shows, but so far they do have a bunch of movies and some television shows but they're pretty new so I'm really looking forward to their constant updates. Also the quality of the videos are unreal! Nothing I've seen on the internet before! I contacted their office and apparently they're just getting started and gathering producers and filmmakers to own their own channel so that'll be pretty interesting to watch as well...I'm looking forward to it.

I have found abc, fox, etc try not to give you the best quality on purpose! They want you to watch them on tv I assume...who knows. Either way you really gotta dig for these websites but soon enough you'll find a good one that works for you, like blastiptv!

    Good luck!
