    Hi, the compression bit rate depends on the kind of content to be encoded if we use VBR MPEG2 encoding. Actually in IPTV deployments compression bit rate&nbsp;is independent&nbsp;of content because CBR MPEG2 encoding is used in order to satisfy access network bandwidth requirements. &nbsp; BR

    Chanells usually consume different BW because the broadcaster&nbsp;uses a variable bit rate MPEG2&nbsp;coding in order to assure constant quality. If you want a limit on the BW, channels should be re-coded in the Video Head-End using constant bit rate MPEG2. &nbsp; Bye
