• Re: OverseaTV

TVguy,I can understand your sense of frustration about the loss of OverseaTV. However, I fail to see what the purpose of writing such a negative diatribe. You seem to mix some facts, with conjecture and personal opinion as to what happened. For example, you single out Morrey Chaplick, whom no doubt has some culpability in the ...

Cbiank,I checked on the user guide for the CMS 500 (ironically still available on the OverseaTV support site) and it appears that the USB port for the CMS 500 is on the front left. The instructions should be the same as the Wave 300. Good luck!!

Hallo Ena,I actually watch the shows on my TV screen. My notebook PC has an s-video port that can connect to my TV. As a subscriber you can download a WMV. I play the downloaded WMV file in either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player in full screen mode and it fills my TV screen. Downloading works better than streaming, as I ...

  • Re: OverseaTV

As NEXTV (http://www.getnextv.com/) is the IPTV provider and VUTV (http://www.vutv.tv/) is the reseller/dealer/partner for NEXTV, the channels they both currently provide are identical. The websites are as posted above in the parentheses. As I have pointed out in a prior post, both websites are NOT up to date as to the channels they ...

Red Ace,I do not know about the Russian package, as my research only involved the German package (I am German). My advice to you is to do what I did, namely, call NEXTV and/or VUTV and find out specifically what channels they offer, then post it here to share with the rest of us.Cheers.

Servus Leo,da gilt der Spruch ''In der Not wird der Mensch erfinderisch''. ShiftTV requires the Personalausweisnummer for age verification purposes only. The trick here is to enter in one for a person that is at least 18 years old. Now if you do a Google search on ''Personalausweisnummer Generator'', I am sure that you will find ...

  • Re: OverseaTV (German TV)

For a clarification on NEXTV and VUTV, I spoke with both companies. NEXTV is an IPTV service provider, while VUTV is a reselling partner or agent for NEXTV. Both companies are Canadian companies.VUTV used to be a reseller for OverseaTV and now that OverseaTV is defunct, VUTV has aligned themselves with NEXTV.Additionally, it should be ...

  • Re: OverseaTV (German TV)

I noticed some confusion about two very similar company / service names. They are ShiftTV (with 2 Ts) and ShifTV (with 1 T).ShiftTV (2 Ts) is a subscription service offered by Netlantic GmbH, a German company. This service allow subscribers to record programs from a selection 19 different German television channels using an online ...
