Having trouble getting a good slingbox stream to/from the USA?

    Hi,

If you know you've got the upload bandwidth, but just don't seem to be getting anywhere near what you should be up or down, then it's quiet possible the route your stream is taking is on a less-than-perfect network, which can greatly degrade your kbps in Slingplayer.

For example, i've got a slingbox with 2Mbit upload, but when i connect directly to it from Australia (box is in USA), i get if im lucky around 500-700kbit, which is ok, but nothing spectacular.... but! if i use a StreamPROXY, i can get 1200-1600kbit which is MUCH better for high res & high quality audio.

So, if you know that your upstream & downstream are not an issue, but your still not getting a great connection between the two! send me an email and i might be able to help you out!

sales@streamproxy.net, or PM me and i'll get back to you ASAP!

    Cheers,

    SiriX

(Note, we do not offer slingbox hosting, purely a method of getting better connectivity)
