    Re: Nextv is terrific

    RedAce,

Like you, I have been VERY impressed with NexTV.  Overall picture quality and reliability far exceeds what OverseaTV ever provided.  However, there is still some pixelization that occurs with the faster action scenes, but NexTV customer service is aware of this, and they are working to resolve it.  What really impresses me about NexTV is the reliability (along with the quality, of course).  I have not observed any picture freezing or audio problems in several weeks now.  To keep this in perspective, however, I must say I have not watched much German TV though due to lack of programming interest on my part, but what I have watched has been definitely "2 thumbs up!" in regards to overall quality and reliability of the video and audio. I am actually beginning to relax when I do watch a German show since my confidence is high that I will be able to watch a show from beginning to end without technical problems disrupting the entertainment experience.

With that said, you stated NexTV is working on a lot of new stuff which really interests me.  May I ask that you share what you believe may be in store in the future for NexTV subscribers?  Obviously, I am interested in several more stations being added such as MDR, WDR, etc., but I believe this will happen in time.  Until then, the addition of ARD alone was huge, and will retain me as a customer.  However, with IPTV just beginning to take off, I suspect there may be more exciting things to offer, and I am curisous if you care to share.

    Thanks in advance!
