I've been using the service from Slingbox NYC for about 18 months now. The service is fantastic. Anytime there is an issue, Mike responds very quickly, addresses the issue, and I'm up and running again.
I have two SlingCathcers setup, one in Germany and one in Switzerland. Full HD, pulling speeds between 2500kbps and 3800kbps. Any degradation of quality is always on my end, just a quick reboot of the router and speeds are amazing.
A previous poster asked about watching sports. For the most part it is great. Occasionally, there may be some stutter in the picture during a fast break on a basketball court, etc, but nothing that is annoying or sustained.
Two times, there were major problems. Once, I was unable to get the SlingCather or the iPad ap working. Mike re-ran the setup on his end within about an hour. Fixed. The other time, the SlingBox died. Mike had another unit setup for me to use while he switched out my original.
With the hurricane in NYC last year, Mike proactively sent out an email saying the hurricane was coming and service could be effected. All was great.
Overall, very, very pleased with this service. Living in Europe is much, much easier being able to watch programs and sports from home. Thanks again Mike!
