So in new to this sort of so ill try and be thourgh.
i have just installed a triad headend with 18 FTA streams and 6 from HDMI the total output bandwidth stream for all 24 services is 130Mbps and this runs into a D-link DGS-1210-28P switch and then out to well for the moment say 6 Phillips commercial TV`s they are 55" I'm not sure on the model number and one amino box. i have flashed the TV with 3.35 firmware and uploaded the channel tables and all is working sort of. Firstly let me say the TV supplier, the headend supplier, and the switch supplier and myself are in direct contact with each other and have been trying to solve this issue for over a week and i have been onsite way too long to make any money out of this now so i just need to try and get it fixed hence here i am. So yes imgp snooping is on as is multicasting on the switch and if i pull a few cards out of the triad headend it only needs to be 3 FTA DVB cards and everything is great with all cards in there it breaks up the picture to totally un watchable.
All tv are static, all ip setting in switch are static and the channel tables in the headend are set, the channel line up out of the headend start at 224.1.1.2 and go up from there. I have put all these addresses in manually and there are no ip conflicts that I'm aware of this is a closed network e.g.. only for the iptv. And i have this result on the amino box as well.
my only thought left is to give the output ip addresses their own individual port number and also in the client as well as at the moment every stream is using 1234 and i have been told this will not matter in multicast? It seems everyone is running out of ideas. HELP please
