The NetUP IPTVProbe is a powerful IPTV streams test
and measurement system. It allows using an IP set-top box
or a PC to test the quality of multimedia streams and to
detect packet losses, delays and jitter. The system consists
of the following parts:
- collector – collects statistics from probes and stores it in
the database;
- probe – monitors passing IP packets and sends
information to collector. It can work either on a PC with
Linux OS or on an IP set-top box;
- reports subsystem – connects to the database and
outputs collected information as diagrams and tables.
