    Set-Top Box and Server Connection...

i am currently creating a hotel database programme. i
encountered a technical problem which i am not very sure of.
my programme work like this, there would be
a template appearing in the television, customers would
enter the food quantity that they wan to order and their hotel room
number through the television, when the customers press submit
or enter, on the server side the information would be extracted
and prompt on the computer screen.

My question is that without having the customers to enter their
hotel room numbers themselves, just through the set-top boxes itself,
how are the server side computers going to recognise which hotel rooms
    the information comes from?

*because in a hotel it is not possible to connect 1 server to 1 pc.
Multi set-top-boxes would have to be connected to 1 server, so as to save
    time and cost.
