    Silvy67

I am SO SO willing to pay for the three rai channels and the the mediaset channels.  I also subscribe to rai international and it SUCKS!  They don't even show the best programmes that rai has.  I have searched for a sub for overseatv and it just doesn't seem to exist.

    Italian TV Programming

Hey Guys as I promised a couple of weeks ago, the New York IPTV company will offer regional Italian channels, from Sicily and other areas in the coming weeks.

Some channels in this package are : Roma Uno, Italiani Nel Mondo, Sicilia Channel etc.... this package will have 10 Italian regional channels both Live and with New York Time. I was told the website is almost ready to start taking orders and I will make it public as soon as I recieve the info.

Channels will be in high quality and be watched via Set Top Box.

I wonder is that NY company http://www.neulion.com

Wouldn't suprsie me if it is.  I've seen there service and quite frankly it is REALLY excellent quality. There picture quality is just as good as Cable tv i was very impressed and if they infact are the ones that will have the Italian programing well then you'll be very very pleased.

    Re: ITALIAN TV

    Hey RedAce,

Actually its not NeuLion, but this company has been very successful with different ethnicities in the US and in Europe so you dont have to worry about the quality.

Also the formatting will be with the newest technology H264, will update you guys as soon as the website is released.

As i said the channels are regional : Sicily Channel, Roma Uno, Italiani nel Mondo and some more I cant remember all of them but they total 10 TV channels.

    Re: ITALIAN TV

BkItalian, it is to my opinion that those regional channels you mentioned are all offered free on the web... if you can offer us the Rai and Mediaset channels I will be the first one to signup for it...

    Re: ITALIAN TV

BkItalian, I am with Silvy67 and would be the 2nd to sign up if you offered rai and mediaset.  Those channels your talking about are little more than a bunch of infomercials.

    Re: ITALIAN TV

Guys for now this is what they have, one of  the channel Italiani Nel Mondo is one of the best channels for the Italian community outside Italy its sort of mix of all the best programming of the channels.
Also Roma Uno is sort of New York 1, I have asked many people here in Brooklyn and they seem happy to have regional channels

I will find out about RAI and Mediaset and if they will offer them in the near future.

    Re: ITALIAN TV

Wow, how underwhelming !!  The FCC has to call you for information, rather than the other way around.  Nice to see that our government is soooo on top of things !!!!
