Has anyone subscribed here?

1. Want to make sure it is legit?
2. Don't want to waste money on this unless the service is really good.

I would seriously be skeptical as there are so many sites claiming to do what they do which do not really provide what they say. Most of them just provide links to sites with video that any one could find for free on the Internet.

Before attempting the service, I would want to speak to a live person and get a preview of the live service. Any legitimate company would not be afraid to provide such a glimpse into their walled garden.

As an update:

The service is legitimate. Have had it for 2 days now and its continuously up. Which I would expect for the price they charge!!

Anyway, great for any Brits who miss the telly at home :)

I've had it for a couple of weeks and I'm loving it.  In fact, I've hardly watched my Dishnetwork since (hm...maybe it's time to downgrade my package).  Anyway, the novelty may wear off, but right now I'm enjoying the four different time streams of the 15 channels (I don't count the three kids channels since they merely mirrors of BBC3, BBC4 and Virgin1). 

Here's a hint:  Create a playlist in your Windows Media Player that has all of your favorite channels.  Then you can use your "previous track" and "next track" buttons (I use a keyspan remote) to "change channels" almost seamlessly (there is a slight delay as the next channel (stream) loads).  It's a jolly good time.

It was great while it lasted.  I've used it for over a year. Unfortunately, the bubble has burst.  My LiveUKTV was not working today.  The website is unavailable.  I had a direct link to the support site, and this is the message on the site::

Global Media Group are no longer able to operate the services previously undertaken on this website address.

It has recently come to our attention that the service is deemed to be illegal both in terms of distribution and viewing.

Due to high demand we estimate 5 to 7 days communication response time.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I had been using the service for many months.

I hope they won't continue to bill me each month.

Anyone else got information on the situation?
