    Hey,

There are number of videoconverter are available in market. As you are newbie you need the simplest one. Currently I am using YASA Video Converter, it’s really very good.  It supports large number of video files including AVI MPEG DVD VCD SVCD WMV ASF MP4 and many more. It’s very easy to use. One click on convert button can do your work. Hope it will give you a great help.
