I just started using Mike's service and so far I'm really happy.

Customer service is great and the picture quality is as well. I'm using the SD package and have my PC hooked up to a TV while I wait for a cheap slingcatcher to appear on Ebay, and it really looks like you're watching normal television. You just wouldn't think that you're watching a stream.

Anyone got a slingcatcher to spare, by the way? :-D

Hey everybody,

I have been using Mike's slingbox service for the past 6 months and I only have one thing to say, it's great!  I have the HD setup and the speeds average about 2100Kbps even though I am thousands of miles away in Japan.  I also use the slingcatcher and the iphone application, both of which are also great.  Sometimes when I'm watching tv it's hard to believe I'm not in the states.  Plus, everytime I show it to one of my one expat friends, they are blown away!

As for the service, Mike is topnotch.  I have emailed many (and I mean MANY!) times with little requests and he always responds ASAP.  Recently there was a small problem with the slingbox not connecting to my slingcatcher.  He went the extra mile and bought a brand-new slingbox the same day!  That kind of service is almost unheard of nowadays!

Let me join the choir. Was looking for a HD box to replace the SD i had located in LA, in search of HD and one placed on the east coast to minimize the time difference. Wrote to 5 that offered that solution. Among those 5 Mike was by far the cheapest and with the biggest package. Wrote to him a Friday night to arrange a test, few seconds he replied if i could test Saturday at 8:00pm my time :) About an hour before i got the instructions, at first i couldn't connect so wrote Mike and 2 minutes after he replied, he had by mistake sent me the wrong ID entered the new and i was running. Experienced some issues with speed but already knew before that my end would be a problem until my network was upgraded, but Mike had some good speed enhancers so i could get the most out of the test, each time i mailed him i had an answer within 10 minutes, that's just something you see everyday. Needless to say i signed up after the test :)

I just wanted to say how much I love and use this service of yours. I live in germany and am a huge fan of US sports. I like all the New York teams and follow every game I can.
With the Slingbox service I can't just watch the games but also the pre and postgame shows, Sportscenter and all the other numerous sports programs that are on in the US.
I don't even have to care about the different time zones anymore, because the included DVR lets me record anything I
want so I can just watch it the next day. The quality of the picture is amazingtoo. I hooked up my computer to my flatscreen TV and the picture is as sharp as my local HD TV channels.
Another thing I want to get out is how amazingly fast your service is. A few weeks ago when DirecTV released a buggy software update for their receivers you answered within minutes and told me what was going on.
I wasn't a customer of any other tv, internet or phone service provider yet that had this kind of response time.

Just wanted to get this out and let everybody know how great this service of yours is.
